The 'Hideaway' bar is just in the little shopping lane, left as you come out of the hotel Tropico, 30 seconds walk and it is well worth going and checking it out. The food is lush. Will be going back there on my next visit to Palma Nova.

I also must mention The Hideaway - a small cafe up a shopping arcade near McDonalds. This is run by a lovely English couple who do a marvellous 3 course meal (with lots of choices on each course) for e11.50 including a bottle of wine each!!! - the food and friendly service is well worth a visit, even if you ignore the great value for money
